Tired of your working day and in the mood for a few entertaining evenings with a 22 year old Italian student who has a sense of humour? The Exchange Student is for you.

After having tested the demo we couldn’t resist testing episodes 1 and 2 of this action flash game that traces the adventures of the “Human God” Emilio, as he describes himself.

Single for all his life, Emilio is bored of being neglected by the Italian girls. So when his friend Vicenzo tells him of his travels in Sweden where he met some very attractive girls, it’s too much for Emilio…He decides to leave Florence and go to Sweden to test the famous Italian charm, despite his mother being sad at his departure since she does not want him to leave the family home.

Emilio’s adventure begins in his bedroom in Florence. The tone is set from the first scene…Emilio has to get ready for his travels…Among other things he has to…hide some “evidence” that he doesn’t want his mother to discover…it means first…erotic books hidden in his bedroom! So it’s the player’s role to discover how… In order to do this, we can interact with elements in the room or use the items picked up, which are stored in the inventory…

So you will have to solve the different problems that Emilio encounters at each stage…Puzzles won’t be difficult to figure out if you succeed in putting yourself in the skin of a funny typical Italian male... All the interest of the game lies in the humour. The “cartoon graphics” are very pleasant and the animation of Emilio is really nice, equally for the graphics as for the voice. Each puzzle solved leads at least to a smile and often to a burst of laughter, seeing or hearing Emilio’s reaction. The interface is intuitive and therefore easy to master.

Our opinion: The length of the first episode, about one or two hours, is a bit disappointing but the second, far longer, gives us time to become attached to Emilio. We are waiting impatiently for the third episode.
